“I realized that I needed to look at the big picture of my life. Even though two years of prerequisites plus four years of the ND program may seem like a long time to be putting into school, I would be so much happier making the life change rather than staying in an industry that no longer fulfilled me.”Emma Lee, ND candidate 2018
Boucher offers world-class learning in a boutique setting. Our small class sizes and functioning clinic ensure that every student gets the practical time they need to succeed as naturopathic doctors.
Boucher is a graduate level naturopathic medical college. In order to complete the Boucher program, prospective students must earn 90+ credits from a recognized Canadian – or regionally accredited American – post-secondary institution by the time of their graduation.
Boucher takes pride in its vibrant, dedicated student body. Applicants are required to submit an application, references and transcripts, with select students chosen to participate in an interview.
Prepare for your application with an overview of Boucher’s tuition, available bursaries, scholarships, and admissions fees. Our team is dedicated to helping successful candidates find financial programming that suits their needs.
British Columbia has the largest scope of practice for naturopathic physicians in Canada. International applicants will be pleased to learn that Canadian school-visas permit students to work alongside their studies, and for up to three years after they graduate. Spouses of full-time students are also permitted to work, assuming their partner obtains a valid study-visa.
Our policies have been established in order to provide governance to our students, staff, and faculty. The Boucher Institute strives to provide a safe and effective environment for the exploration of naturopathic medicine.
