Meet fourth-year naturopathic medical student at the Boucher Naturopathic Medical Clinic, Emma Furze! Born and raised in Vancouver, Emma comes from a family of nurses and was drawn to naturopathic medicine from seeing gaps in western health care and an increasing interest in self-healing mechanisms, and natural health overall. She graduated from Concordia University in Montreal where she played varsity soccer but suffered a career-ending injury which in retrospect she wishes she had earlier access to naturopathic medicine to help with her recovery. Her main interests are in women’s health for every body type and integrative dermatology. Outside of school and clinic, she can be found hanging out near the ocean, travelling (preferably to anywhere on the ocean), learning to ski, and playing with golden retrievers. Learn more about Emma’s journey at Boucher at our next online info session on Wednesday, August 18 at 12pm PDT! Register here.
