CCNM-Boucher campus welcomes applications from the US and other international students to our naturopathic medical program.
CCNM-Boucher campus is a CNME-accredited naturopathic medical school and as such, graduates are considered as eligible to practice in the US as graduates from any US-based CNME-accredited naturopathic medical school.

Applicants who intend to practice outside North America are advised to contact the local naturopathic medicine licensing body to inquire about requirements for licensing in that country.
*US applicants please note that CCNM-Boucher campus does not currently participate in the US Federal Student Loans program.
English Language Proficiency
Applicants must meet the minimum English requirements for admission into the Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine program by presenting official and original evidence of proficiency as below.
Minimum requirements for admission:
Candidates who have completed a degree (all degree credits) at an institution where the official language of instruction is English AND completed high school from grades 10-12 and received a high school diploma at a school where the official language of instruction is English will meet the minimum language requirement, provided there are no concerns regarding language ability during the admissions interview.
Candidates wishing to meet the English language requirement as outlined above must submit an official transcript from all applicable institutions. For programs completed outside of Canada or the United States an official transcript from the issuing institution must be received in addition to a “comprehensive evaluation” of that transcript from either ICES or WES prior to the first day of the program.
If a candidate does not meet the aforementioned requirements, they will be required to satisfy the program’s English language requirement by one of the following:
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
CCNM-Boucher campus only accepts the Internet-Based Test (IBT):
- Internet Based Test (IBT): minimum score of 95 overall with a minimum of 23 in each testing section.
TOEFL scores over three years old at the time of application will not be accepted.
International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
- Minimum score of 7.0 overall with a minimum of 6.5 in each testing section.
IELTS scores over three years old at the time of application will not be accepted.
Study Permits
Study permits are required by students who will be attending CCNM-Boucher campus from outside of Canada. The application process can take several months. Please note that you will need a Letter of Acceptance from CCNM-Boucher campus before you are able to apply for a study permit. Learn more about study permits and how to apply here.
Transcripts
Transcripts for students who have studied outside of Canada or the US
Students applying for the four-year Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine program and who have completed their university degree at an institution outside Canada or the US must have their transcripts evaluated and (if necessary) translated.
For credentials earned outside of Canada or the United States, a “comprehensive evaluation” must be completed from either the International Credential Evaluation Service (ICES) or World Education Services (WES) and must demonstrate equivalency to a North American degree.
