We strive to impress a holistic approach to life and medicine upon our students. As such, we embed the philosophy of Naturopathic Medicine throughout our educational experience and reinforce the application of basic medical sciences into clinical realities.
The Biomedicine course is delivered over the first two years, integrating physiology, biochemistry, pathology, histology, embryology, pharmacology and laboratory diagnosis in a systems based approach.
Naturopathic Therapeutic Modalities
Preparing you for the broad scope of practice in British Columbia, the program provides you with the tools you need to be an integrative, evidence-based healer.
In Clinical Sciences, students will learn the principles and methods that allow them to evaluate and investigate medical treatments as well as applying these in laboratory testing.
Clinical Skills and Case Management
Prior to beginning their clinical training, our students spend time learning general clinical and emergency practices and the specific functioning of the Boucher Clinic.
You will be involved in clinical training starting in first year through in the community placements and rotations in the teaching clinic.
Our comprehensive professional development program is designed to teach students about branding, promotion and relationship building.
