Position Title: Research Fellow, part-time (3 days per week)

The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine is seeking a part-time Research Fellow to serve as an integral member of the Research department of the College.  Reporting directly to the Director, Research, the incumbent will support the College’s research activity such that it helps further the CCNM vision, mission and ends through: developing and submitting research proposals; participating in and supervising research activity; assisting in writing, reviewing, and submitting peer reviewed papers; and helping to guide the academic faculty, clinic supervisors, college residents, and students in the area of research.

The ideal candidate will be located at the New Westminster, BC campus although candidates able to work at our Toronto, ON campus will be considered.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Masters or Doctorate degree in public health, epidemiology or health sciences is preferred
  • Minimum two years’ experience in medical/epidemiological research
  • Clinical research training or experience
  • Skilled medical writer with a proven track record of published scientific literature
  • Understanding of the grant writing process
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Well developed project management skills
