POSITION SUMMARY:
The Student Services Coordinator (Summer) will be responsible for supporting the Student Services and Admission Departments through a number of projects and administrative duties
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Update historical course details in student grading system
2. Audit and update student grades in student grading system
3. Update student grades in grading system
4. Create News & Announcements templates for the Office of Registrar (Scholarships, NPLEX Exams & Results, Registration deadline etc.)
5. Scan and archive documents
6. Current Student file audit
7. Assist registrar with student registration
8. Assist with the development of a financial aid brochure
9. Assist with the student activity calendar for fall 2019
10. Assist with the planning and preparation June 2019 graduation ceremony
11. Assist with the planning and preparation of New Student Orientation
12. Assist with the planning and preparation of our new student retreat
13. Admissions student file audits
14. Admissions student data entry
15. Assist with daily administrative duties
16. All other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Education Preferred
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate of Arts, or Business Administration or similar field.
Other
- Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook) and Adobe
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi task and work in a fast-paced environment, and deliver timely results
- Positive and professional team attitude
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong attention to detail and time management/organizational skills
- Exceptional Customer service and interpersonal skills
- Proven Strong Work Ethic
Hours of Work
This is a full time temporary summer position. The ideal candidate would be available to work from mid to end of May to September 1, 2019. Hours of week will be 35. In lieu of benefits will be paid 4% on each pay.
As this position been created due to the Federal Summer Youth Employment program, only candidates between ages of 15-30yrs and that are either a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident will be considered.
